About Me.

Hello. I’m “Ant.”

Well, that’s what everyone calls me…

I’m an award-winning, omni-channel executive-level Creative Director and Experience Solution Strategist with over 25 in the fields of advertising and promotional, shopper, digital, and experiential marketing.

Using the science behind moods, occasions, and semiotics to make an impact beyond the expected, I specialize in strategic brand building, conceptual ideation, and creative execution ALL while building and strengthening relationships with clients and brands.

In short, I AM a problem solver who can lead a unique work environment where I nurture internal collaboration, inclusiveness, and creativity. That being said, I have led internal multi-disciplinary teams from as small as 10 to as many as 50 and I have a 98% retention rate with my direct reports over the past 15 years.

Over the past decade, I am successful in driving new business growth and maximizing revenue upwards of $75 million due to understanding and anticipating the clients’ and brands’ needs.

This experience has allowed me to developed a deep understanding of multiple industries and have created and implemented successful brand building campaigns, engagements, and loyalty programs for over 100+ Fortune 500 companies such as Heineken, M&M’s, Coca-Cola, McNeil, Unilever, and Starbucks just to name a few,

Q&A.

  • The Beatles.

Ever since I can remember, they have had a huge creative influence on me — and many aspects of modern society, including fashion, culture — and, of course, music itself.

What truly inspires me (and my creative management style) is that behind The Beatles creative process were two dominant forces. First was the importance of “rivalry” as a contributor to creative enhancement. Second was the nature of the working “team” that possessed high levels of exchange and complimentary blends of expertise and thinking styles.

Like Picasso or DaVinci, The Beatles were artists who broke through the constraints of their time period to come up with something that was unique and original.

We should all strive to achieve that.

  • It would be easy to say “winning awards” or “building departments” or “peer recognition” but if I’m being truly honest, I would have to say that my greatest creative accomplishment would be that I’ve been extremely fortunate to have an amazing creative career and a job that I truly love. Not too many people can say that.

  • Here are three that I’m proud of...

First is an adaptability that has come from years of working “below-the-line” that taught me to roll up my sleeves and create within tight timelines and small budgets.

The second would be my innate ability to engage, empower, and energize creative departments and multi-disciplinary teams under my supervision. Happy people create the best work!

…and third would be an overzealous perseverance to create gold standard work for clients and brands that disrupts, attracts, and in turn, grows consumer loyalty, business, and profit.

  • It’s heading towards “Innovation”.

Innovation is applied creativity, in which the spark of a new idea is turned into a novel solution or process. If you have a brainstorming meeting and dream up dozens of new ideas, then you have displayed creativity, but there is no innovation until something gets implemented.

Together, creativity and innovation involve rocking the boat. We need to create unique opportunities and market disruptions. It is important to periodically shake things up and try new approaches. After all, who knows what the next groundbreaking innovation may be?

Ant is exceptionally bright. He's intellectually bright. His personality is bright. His honesty and integrity are beacons of light we see from the murky waters upon which we so often sail in business. In fact, the more he's with your clients, the better off your company will be.
Why? Because this is after all a people business and Ant is a people guy. They're fiercely loyal to him and if you use him the right way, the way that exploits all his many strengths, you will profit for having done so.

Having come up through the ranks from the graphic discipline enables Anthony to visualize his thoughts through pencil thumbnails and even jump on the computer to further the creative process.
As a manager/leader, Anthony uses his bottomless pool of energy, inspiration, and wit to engage his peers and subordinates, always keeping things positive and making it fun to work with him.”
